The current owners have refurbished the cottage to a very high standard with architect designed renovation and interior designer decoration and furnishings that achieved a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the 2004/5 South West Tourism Awards.

Upon arrival you will find fresh flowers in the property along with a welcome basket that includes freshly baked scones or muffins, wine, coffee, tea, milk, bread and butter. The house has direct access to the road from the rear and from the front the centre of Brixham and the harbour are just a 1 minute down the hill, where the attractions and harbour front restaurants offer tempting fish dishes.

Map and Local Area

Brixham

Brixham is a quaint fishing town and with its cafés, bars, shops and restaurants, including the fish restaurants serving the daily local catches, it’s no wonder this is a favourite destination for people of all ages. While fishing is Brixham’s main industry, it is also reinventing itself as an upmarket tourist resort, with quality food shops such as the Brixham Deli, cafés such as Number 11, and bars such as the Yard Arms. The focal point of the harbour gives the town a continental feel, especially in the summer, when you can sit outside and enjoy fish which has been caught that very morning.

In September South Devon hosts a walking festival with a wide variety of activities taking place. For more information on the festival please see http://www.southdevonwalkingfestival.co.uk/.
