Only 9 miles up the road is the famous town of Bude, with its warm, sun kissed beaches and its coves perfect for a variety of watersports. Locally sourced meats, game and fish can be found at a number of great restaurants and the pannier market in the town, while the Ruby Country initiative has provided the perfect way to walk, cycle or horse ride your way around the striking local countryside. Timing your visit well could allow you to enjoy one of the many events held in and around the town, from carnivals to Vintage Car rallies and the annual St. Peters Fair week.
