Protea Cottage can be found in the quiet leafy area of Chelston, with the seafront being a 10 minute walk away, from where you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the water's edge around to Torre Abbey Sands and the harbour.

Please note: This property only accepts Saturday to Saturday bookings during June, July and August.

  • Period furniture complement the decor, which includes a wine cabinet and mini-bar.
  • Entertainment is provided by a TV with DVD player and CD/cassette/radio player.
  • Antique bookcase with books and board games available for guests.

  • A combination of white and wood effect units with wood laminate work tops and a matching laminate floor.
  • Electric oven with a built-in grill and electric hob.
  • Fridge/freezer, washing machine, and a microwave, kettle, toaster and cafétière.

  • Wood dining table has four padded chairs.

  • Large bedroom tastefully decorated in pink with a flower effect centre light and looks out onto the side gardens.
  • Two single beds, each with its own beside chest and wall mounted reading light.
  • fitted double wardrobes come with an integral shoe rack, and the matching cream dressing table has three sets of drawers, a large mirror and a high-backed chair.

  • Double bed has a satin bed throw in keeping with the style of the room.

  • Luxury corner bath with electric shower over it and a shower curtain, plus a WC, bidet and wash basin – all in white.

  • Comprises a corner bath with shower over it, W.C., and wash basin, which has a light and mirror above it plus a shaver point.

  • Protea shares the back split-level garden with the Coach House opposite, which has two large well-kept lawns to sit and relax in and the enjoy the views over to Torquay.
