St Austell is the meeting point of old and new Cornwall, of ancient, narrow streets and pedestrian precincts with fine shops and restaurants. St Austell Bay is a perfect location to enjoy many sandy beaches and fishing villages including the historic and unspoilt harbours of Charlestown, Mevagissey - which remains a beautiful working harbour - and Fowey. Visitors can also enjoy some of best attractions in Cornwall such as The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, both of which are close by.

Booking notes

  • A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
  • For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card.
  • Only weekly (or multiples of) bookings are accepted in July and August. The changeover date is Saturday unless otherwise stated.
  • Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated.
  • A non-refundable £19.50 booking fee is applicable to all bookings.
  • All properties are non-smoking.
  • Pets are accepted in certain properties where stated.
  • Bookings made by credit card will be charged a handling fee.
  • There is no booking charge for debit cards.

You can book a property online and choose to pay by credit/debit card, cheque or request a callback to pay over the phone.

Online with a debit/credit card. After entering your start and end dates on the calendar above and acquiring a price, click ‘book now’. Follow the prompts with your credit or debit card to book securely online. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful completion of the booking.

Upon completion you will be given a booking reference number and a member of the Blue Chip bookings team will call you to complete the booking.
