History meets the comforts of modern living in this superb town house, converted from a property believed to have been originally built as the Canon of Exeter's summer residence. Situated in the popular Roundham area of Paignton, close to Roundham Gardens, Goodrington beach and Quay West waterpark, the property is also convenient for the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway and Paignton town centre with its further range of shops, amenities and attractions.

There are 2 designated parking spaces on the driveway and the townhouse is approached across a sun trap patio with seating to enjoy the sea views.

  • Entertainment is provided by a TV with Digital Virgin Media and DVD/video.
  • Wireless broadband is available for guests who bring their own laptop.
  • A selection of videos, books and board games are available for use.
  • The property is family friendly and includes a high chair and cot.

  • Features a dishwasher, 4 gas hobs with hood over, an electric oven with grill, fridge and microwave.
  • A kettle, toaster, coffee machine and cafetiere plus plenty of pans, crockery and cutlery ensure you have everything for a comfortable stay.
  • A door gives access to the rear of the property where there is a covered storage room. 

Dining

  • The dining room is on the ground floor off the front patio, and contains an oblong sturdy wood table with 8 chairs and 3 stools.Please note: The table has seating for 8 and the extra seating would only be suitable for children.
  • There is also a large T.V. with Freeview and a two seater sofa bed.
  • A high chair is also provided free of charge for younger guests.
  • A utility room houses the boiler and offers a further stainless steel sink, washer, dryer, airer and large fridge/freezer. There is also a cloakroom with WC and wash basin off the utility room.

  • Located on the second floor the room is furnished with a double bed, 2-drawer bedside units, a matching 3-drawer chest with mirror and a wardrobe with mirror.
  • En-suite shower room comprising a shower cubicle, w.c., wash basin, light, shaver point and mirror. 

Bedroom two (Family Room)

  • Located on the second floor this room features fabulous sea views over across Torbay.
  • Furnished with 2x single beds, 1x Z-bed, a double futon, a wardrobe with mirror, matching 2-drawer bedside unit, a 3-drawer chest with mirror on, a wicker chair and hairdryer. Please note: The Z-bed and futon are intended for occasional use, or for the use of children.

Bedroom three with en-suite 

  • Located at the rear on the first floor this room has been furnished with 2 single beds and a 2-drawer bedside unit.
  • An archway leads to a dressing area with wardrobe incorporating a mirror, 3-drawer chest with mirror on and stool.
  • En-suite bathroom comprising a white bath with shower over and screen, w.c., and basin with mirror, light and shaver point over.

  • There is a further double sofa bed in the dining area located on the ground floor for extra guests.

Paignton 

With sweeping sandy beaches and a multitude of attractions on your doorstep, Paignton offers something for everybody.

Beach lovers are well catered for with 4 long stretches of sandy beach at Preston Sands, Paignton Beach, Goodrington Beach and Broadsands Beach, each offering safe bathing with care and many on-site facilities.

Paignton has much to offer for the younger guest as well as the beaches, as well as the young at heart. The award winning Paignton Zoo, Quaywest Waterpark and The Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway are all based locally, while Paignton Pier and Youngs Park offer a variety of fun activities.

The area offers great walks with spectacular sea views, around the picturesque harbour, around Roundham Head and Gardens, along to the cliff top walks leading down to Elbury Cove. Whatever your holiday preferences, Paignton will meet and exceed your needs.

Booking notes

  • A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
  • For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card.
  • Only weekly (or multiples of) bookings are accepted in July and August. The changeover date is Saturday unless otherwise stated.
  • Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated.
  • A non-refundable £19.50 booking fee is applicable to all bookings.
  • All properties are non-smoking.
  • Pets are accepted in certain properties where stated.
  • Bookings made by credit card will be charged a handling fee.
  • There is no booking charge for debit cards.
