33 Southview is a five-bedroomed detached house behind secure electronic gates.  It is conveniently placed just behind Oldway Mansion within an 8 minute walk to the popular Preston Sands and is about 10 minutes from Paignton town centre, with its shops, supermarket, cafés and restaurants.

The living room enjoys a wide panorama over Torbay reaching to Berry Head, while there is a large parking in the grounds for at least four vehicles.  A particular highlight of the property is the private indoor pool and sauna.

Please note that Southview is not available for short breaks.

Living

  • A luxurious living area which resembles a penthouse apartment.
  • Marble fireplace.
  • Decorated to a high standard throughout.

  • Further patio doors to one of the decking areas outside.

Kitchen

  • Contemporary cream floor and wall units with their granite effect worktops, offering plenty of storage space – there is even a huge pull-out larder.
  • Features a gas oven and separate grill, gas hob, US-style Whirlpool fridge and separate freezer which has an ice and water machine, you can dine in style, and if you don’t want to cook, there is a microwave for takeaways, dishwasher,toaster, kettle and cafétière.

Dining

  • A table and six chairs are carved from reclaimed wood to give a rustic feel (there is also an extra 4 fold-up chairs).

Master Bedroom

  • The master bedroom has a king size bed, beech fitted wardrobes, two small bedside chests of drawers and a larger one.
  • Views out onto the garden and Bay beyond.

Bedroom Two

  • There is a double bed, contemporary wardrobe and two chests of drawers.
  • En-suite bathroom.

Bedroom Three

  • Bedroom three is perfect for the children with twin beds, a natural wood wardrobe, bedside cabinet and teddy bear stool. They can wake up in the mornings and view the sea.

Bedroom Four

  • Furnished with twin beds, a contemporary wardrobe and chest of drawers.
  • View looks out over the garden.

Bedroom five

  • This room is furnished with bunk beds, a pine wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bathroom

Main Bathroom

  • The family bathroom has shower cubicle, WC and wash basin with mirror.

En-suite to Master Bedroom

  • The en-suite is a bit like Neptune’s cavern with its underwater design tiling. The white suite comprises bath with attached shower, WC and wash basin, with half tiling above the washing area. There is a shelving unit for toiletries.

  • Features a white double shower, WC and wash basin.

Outside

  • An indoor heated swimming pool with shower and sauna room.
  • Stunning sea views across Torbay.

  • Southview is located at the end of a private road which is very steep and narrow, (although wide enough for 4 x 4 sized car) and is very bumpy in places.

Paignton 

With sweeping sandy beaches and a multitude of attractions on your doorstep, Paignton offers something for everybody.

Beach lovers are well catered for with 4 long stretches of sandy beach at Preston Sands, Paignton Beach, Goodrington Beach and Broadsands Beach, each offering safe bathing with care and many on-site facilities.

Paignton has much to offer for the younger guest as well as the beaches, as well as the young at heart. The award winning Paignton Zoo, Quaywest Waterpark and The Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway are all based locally, while Paignton Pier and Youngs Park offer a variety of fun activities.

The area offers great walks with spectacular sea views, around the picturesque harbour, around Roundham Head and Gardens, along to the cliff top walks leading down to Elbury Cove. Whatever your holiday preferences, Paignton will meet and exceed your needs.

Booking notes

  • A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
  • For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card.
  • Only weekly (or multiples of) bookings are accepted in July and August. The changeover date is Saturday unless otherwise stated.
  • Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated.
  • A non-refundable £19.50 booking fee is applicable to all bookings.
  • All properties are non-smoking.
  • Pets are accepted in certain properties where stated.
  • Bookings made by credit card will be charged a handling fee.
  • There is no booking charge for debit cards.
