Downderry is a small village situated on the Whitsand Bay coast on the outskirts of Looe between Saltash and Liskeard.

Close by attractions include the Woolley Monkey Sanctury, a wide and spacious beach with many rock pools at low tide, Whitsand Bay Golf Club 4 miles,
Looe Golf Club 6 miles, and St Mellion Championship Course both Old Course & Nicklaus Course 15 miles away.
