It provides plenty of attractions and amenities including the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Falmouth town centre has a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and the Falmouth Art Gallery is one of the best in Cornwall.
Just a short drive, or boat ride away, Cornwall's capital, Truro also offers a large selection shops, restaurants and cafes.
Fal River Links offers many boat trips from Falmouth to Truro, St Maws and the Roselands Peninsula allowing you to leave the car at home and take to the water.
Nightingale House is a 15-20 minute walk from the Blue Flag Gyllyngvase Beach, a crescent shaped white stretch of sand, ideal for family bathing and watersports.
