Dartmoor is a place filled with mystery and intrigue, set in some truly breath-taking scenery. With a rich history boasting ancient abbeys, Iron Age hill forts and over 50 years of National Park status, Dartmoor is seen by many as the jewel in Devon’s crown. A vast expanse of wild, untamed moorland with pretty, traditional villages scattered around the area, it makes for the perfect place to get away from it all.
With pubs, inns and restaurants dotted around the area, there are so many culinary options, and guided walks offer the ideal way to work off all the great local cuisine! With local attractions including numerous abbeys, stately homes and an interesting tour around an operational cider press (with samples included!) there is so much to do during your stay.

Full Property Description
Honicombe Manor is located in a picturesque setting, close to the stunning Dartmoor National Park. On site, Honicombe is packed with many leisure facilities including a superb heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool, children’s play area, fitness centre, relaxing sauna, restaurant and bar. (Site facilities are closed annually from early January to 1st April and November to December excluding Christmas and New year).The spacious site layout, large grounds and surrounding beautiful countryside make the location perfectly tranquil and an ideal base for exploring the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and also a World Heritage Site. And the Manor’s location, being on the Devon and Cornwall border, means that there is a perfect opportunity to discover the best of both counties.
