The Old Boat House is a two bedroom house directly on Brixham harbour. Converted from a boat builder’s yard, it is often featured in tourist photographs of Brixham harbour. Positioned in the corner of the harbour, you can relax and enjoy the holiday atmosphere of the harbour from any of the three balconies. The property has recently been refurbished to a very high standard with neutral décor, solid wood floors throughout and contemporary lighting.

Parking permits can be purchased entitling you to unlimited parking in any council owned car park across Torbay. Please call 01803 855282 to arrange.

  • Located on the first floor, the living/dining/kitchen area is open-plan which gives a spacious feel.
  • From the living area, patio doors lead to the balcony.

Brixham 

Brixham is a quaint fishing town and with its cafés, bars, shops and restaurants, including the fish restaurants serving the daily local catches, it’s no wonder this is a favourite destination for people of all ages. While fishing is Brixham’s main industry, it is also reinventing itself as an upmarket tourist resort, with quality food shops such as the Brixham Deli, cafés such as Number 11, and bars such as the Yard Arms. The focal point of the harbour gives the town a continental feel, especially in the summer, when you can sit outside and enjoy fish which has been caught that very morning.

Booking notes

  • A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
  • For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card.
  • Only weekly (or multiples of) bookings are accepted in July and August. The changeover date is Saturday unless otherwise stated.
  • Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated.
  • A non-refundable £19.50 booking fee is applicable to all bookings.
  • All properties are non-smoking.
  • Pets are accepted in certain properties where stated.
  • Bookings made by credit card will be charged a handling fee.
  • There is no booking charge for debit cards.

You can book a property online and choose to pay by credit/debit card, cheque or request a callback to pay over the phone.

Upon completion you will be given a booking reference number and a member of the Blue Chip bookings team will call you to complete the booking.
