A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description

Pilot's Perch is a traditional cottage overlooking Brixham fishing port and outer harbour. The position gives visitors an excellent viewpoint to watch the commercial and pleasure craft come and go - a real boat lovers paradise!

The cottage has been well finished and beautifully decorated and is ideally located for the centre of Brixham, as the inner harbour is less than 100 metres away, where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, shops, pubs and the local attractions. In the other direction, enjoy a waterfront walk along to the Battery gardens, a scenic viewpoint with far-reaching views.

Brixham harbour is undergoing a major redevelopment starting in 2008. For the latest information about work, visit www.brixhamfishmarket.info.

Parking permits can be purchased entitling you to unlimited parking in any council owned car park across Torbay. Please call 0844 561 2001 to arrange.

Please note: This property only accepts week bookings during school holidays.

  • A modern kitchen with white units complete with electric oven and grill, electric 4 ring hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
  • Full set of utensils and accessories including microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere.

Dining

  • There is a table and four chairs located in the living area allowing you to take in the marina views while you dine.

  • Furnished with a double bed, 2 bedside tables both with lamps and a wardrobe.

Bedroom two

  • Furnished with 2 single beds, a bedside table with lamp and a wardrobe.

Bedroom three

  • Furnished with a single bed with bedside table and lamp.
  • A cot is provided for younger guests.

Bathroom

  • White suite comprising a bath with electric shower over, wash basin, w.c., and storage cupboard.

Outside

  • Spectacular panoramic views across the fishing port and outer harbour.
  • Close to Brixham town and inner harbour.
