The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable.
It was fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and the owners of the cottage made us feel very welcome. The property was lovely and clean.

Oyster Catcher Cottage is set in a quiet cul-de-sac just one street back from the bustling quay and shops. The Cottage has a rear suntrap courtyard accessed from the kitchen on the first floor with one table and 4 chairs and is an ideal base to relax and unwind on your holiday.

Free parking permit when you book Oyster Catcher for a break of 7 nights or more - entitles you to unlimited parking in any council owned car park across Torbay. Please call 01803 855282 to arrange.

Living

  • The living room is located on the ground floor and has a two seater sofa with two matching armchairs.
  • Entertainment is provided by a flat screen TV and plenty of books for use of the guests.
  • The living room leads on to the second bathroom with a shower cubicle.

  • The well equipped kitchen is also on the first floor at the rear, it features a electric hob with hood, fridge, microwave, washing machine, toaster and kettle.
  • The kitchen also leads out on to the back patio area.

Dining

  • The dining area is situated on the first floor and is light and airy with side harbour views, there is a table and seating for four people.
  • Entertainment is provided by a wall mounted flat screen TV with integrated DVD player.

Sleeping

Master Bedroom

  • The master bedroom is on the second floor to the front of the house with fantastic views across the harbour.
  • It features a double bed, two bedside tables, one chest of drawers and one wardrobe.

Bedroom Two

  • The second bedroom is to the rear of the property.
  • Furnished with bunk beds, one bedside table and one built in wardrobe.

Bathroom

  • The main bathroom is situated on the second floor with a shower and wash basin.
  • Additional shower room located off the living area.

Outside

  • Oyster Catcher Cottage is set in a quiet cul-de-sac just one street back from the bustling quay and shops.
  • A parking permit is included for the nearby council car park for stays of 7 nights or more.
  • The cottage has a rear suntrap courtyard accessed from the kitchen on the first floor with one table and 4 chairs - perfect for al-fresco dining.

Brixham 

Brixham is a quaint fishing town and with its cafés, bars, shops and restaurants, including the fish restaurants serving the daily local catches, it’s no wonder this is a favourite destination for people of all ages. While fishing is Brixham’s main industry, it is also reinventing itself as an upmarket tourist resort, with quality food shops such as the Brixham Deli, cafés such as Number 11, and bars such as the Yard Arms. The focal point of the harbour gives the town a continental feel, especially in the summer, when you can sit outside and enjoy fish which has been caught that very morning.

Booking notes

  • A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
  • For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card.
  • Only weekly (or multiples of) bookings are accepted in July and August. The changeover date is Saturday unless otherwise stated.
  • Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated.
  • A non-refundable £19.50 booking fee is applicable to all bookings.
  • All properties are non-smoking.
  • Pets are accepted in certain properties where stated.
  • Bookings made by credit card will be charged a handling fee.
  • There is no booking charge for debit cards.

You can book a property online and choose to pay by credit/debit card, cheque or request a callback to pay over the phone.

Online with a debit/credit card. After entering your start and end dates on the calendar above and acquiring a price, click ‘book now’. Follow the prompts with your credit or debit card to book securely online. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful completion of the booking.

Upon completion you will be given a booking reference number and a member of the Blue Chip bookings team will call you to complete the booking.
