A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can enjoy the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description

Jericho Cottage is a 3 bedroom traditional cottage in an elevated position with panoramic views over Brixham harbour, the fishing port, the marina and over the bay.

Located on a quiet road, providing a degree of peace and tranquillity, whilst retaining the benefits of outstanding views of the harbour, marina and across Torbay. A 2 minute walk takes you down to the harbour to where the local shops, restaurants and attractions are located. The property includes an adjacent garage (2.5m. by 4.7m.).

This property includes a free family pass to the local leisure club where there is an indoor heated swimming pool, learner pool, gym, sauna and steam room.

Living

  • The spacious living room is located on the ground floor, with a large window providing panoramic views across Brixham harbour and marina, and further afield to Torquay.
  • As with the rest of the property, the lounge is decorated to a high level with leather 2 and 3 seater settees, wicker chair and mosaic stone fireplace.
  • Entertainment is provided by a TV with freeview, video and radio/CD/cassette, with some CDs, magazines and board games.

Kitchen

  • The kitchen/dining area is located downstairs in the basement, again with views across Brixham and a door to the garden.
  • The well appointed kitchen features a washer/dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, double oven with gas hob and hood, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, food processor, scales and an iron and ironing board.

Dining

  • There is a pine dining table with 4 chairs.

Sleeping

Master Bedroom

  • Views across the harbour and marina.
  • Features a pine double bed with drawer units either side, wardrobe, chest of drawers.
  • Entertainment is provided by a TV and DVD combi player.

Bedroom Two

  • Located at the front of the property on the ground floor.
  • Decorated in a pine scheme, it has pine twin beds with a wardrobe and drawer unit between the beds.

Bedroom Three

  • Has pine twin beds, a 3 drawer unit and a built in wardrobes.

Bathroom

  • The first floor bathroom includes a white suite consisting of a wash basin, w.c., and bath with shower taps and a folding shower screen, as well as a mirror and light and shaver point.

Outside

  • The property includes an adjacent garage (width 2.5m. by 4.7m.).
  • At the rear of the property there is a garden area with a table and 5 chairs where the spectacular views can be appreciated.
  • This property includes a free family pass to the local leisure club where there is an indoor heated swimming pool, learner pool, gym, sauna and steam room.
