A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can enjoy the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description

Halcyon is a 3 bedroom house in an elevated position located towards Berry Head in Brixham. Heath Rise is a quiet road, providing a degree of peace and tranquillity, whilst enjoying the benefits of outstanding, uninterrupted sea views, taking in the Marina, the Breakwater, the whole of Torbay and out towards Lyme Bay.

Brixham town centre is a 15 minute walk along the harbour to where the local shops, restaurants and attractions are located. The property has a drive and garage, and a front patio area with seating and a private rear garden.

Not suitable for children under 2 years old.

Living

  • The spacious living room is situated on the first floor offering panoramic views across the bay to Torquay. Sliding patio doors give access to the balcony.
  • The balcony features a table and two matching chairs offering an ideal environment to dine al fresco whilst taking in the spectacular view.
  • The living room is furnished with a high quality brown leather three seater sofa, matching two seater sofa, a stylish bentwood chair and a contemporary wooden coffee table.
  • There is also a rectangular wooden dining table complete with 6 matching leather-backed chairs.

Kitchen

  • The kitchen is situated off the living room and boasts far reaching sea views.
  • Appliances comprise of an electric oven with grill, ceramic hob, extractor hood, dishwasher and fridge.
  • There is a washing machine and spin-dryer in the garage.
  • An extensive range of utensils and accessories are provided including a microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere.
  • There is a circular glass-topped breakfast table complete with four matching chairs.

Sleeping

  • Furnished with a double bed, two bedside cabinets complete with matching lamps, and a wardrobe.
  • Sliding doors give access to the adjoining sunroom with access to the rear patio and garden.

Bedroom Three

  • Situated at the front of the property with views towards the sea.
  • Furnished with twin beds and a wardrobe.

Bathroom

  • The main family bathroom is situated on the first floor and comprises of a bath with shower over, wash basin, mirror and wc.
  • The shower room is situated on the ground floor beside bedroom three and comprises of a shower cubicle, wash basin, mirror and wc.

Outside

  • Access to the garage.
  • Drive large enough to accommodate one car. On street parking is also available in the area.
  • There is a balcony with furniture at the front of the property, offering spectacular sea views.
  • At the rear of the property there is a secluded, fully enclosed garden featuring a lawn, patio area with table and chairs, and a barbecue.
  • Within a short walk of Berry Head Nature Reserve, the harbour and the town centre.
