Fortune Cottage is a traditional three bedroom cottage situated over four floors.It is full of character and charm and makes for a delightful holiday home. The cottage benefits from far reaching sea views across Brixham Marina, a balcony off the living area, small patio with furniture and bbq, plus parking for two cars.

Brixham is a traditional fishing port renowned for its early morning fish market and replica of the Golden Hind. Fortune Cottage is just a short walk away from Brixham town centre and harbour where you will find numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and interesting shops.

Living

  • Spacious living area with french windows that open out onto a small balcony with steps leading down to the patio..

  • Furnished with bunk beds, bedside table with lamp, double wardrobe and 5 drawer chest.
Please note: The second floor is access via steep narrow winding stairs with a rope hand rail.

  • Main bathroom is situated on the lower ground floor and comprises a bath with shower over, wash basin and w.c.
  • En-suite to bedroom one comprises a shower cubicle, wash basin and w.c.
  • There is an additional w.c. on the first floor.

Brixham 

Brixham is a quaint fishing town and with its cafés, bars, shops and restaurants, including the fish restaurants serving the daily local catches, it’s no wonder this is a favourite destination for people of all ages. While fishing is Brixham’s main industry, it is also reinventing itself as an upmarket tourist resort, with quality food shops such as the Brixham Deli, cafés such as Number 11, and bars such as the Yard Arms. The focal point of the harbour gives the town a continental feel, especially in the summer, when you can sit outside and enjoy fish which has been caught that very morning.

Booking notes

  • A deposit of 1/3 of the total price is required to secure a property. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
  • For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card.
  • Only weekly (or multiples of) bookings are accepted in July and August. The changeover date is Saturday unless otherwise stated.
  • Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at other times of the year unless otherwise stated.
  • A non-refundable £19.50 booking fee is applicable to all bookings.
  • All properties are non-smoking.
  • Pets are accepted in certain properties where stated.
  • Bookings made by credit card will be charged a handling fee.
  • There is no booking charge for debit cards.
