A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.
Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description
Charlotte Cottage is a 3 bedroom house perched directly on Brixham's inner harbour with uninterrupted views of the harbour, the fishing port and across the bay to Torquay from all floors of this charming house.
The property includes a designated parking space below on the harbour front and is within a couple of hundred yards of the local shops, restaurants and attractions.
Living
- The spacious living room is located on the first floor and has panoramic views across the inner harbour, fishing port, marina and over to Torquay.
- Two matching white leather 2 seater sofas with a large 4 seater corner unit with matching foot stool.
- Entertainment is provided by a 42 inch plasma wide-screen television complete with full sky subscription.
- There is also a DVD/CD player and video recorder.
- Internet access is available for guests who bring their own laptops.
Kitchen
- There is an electric oven with separate grill and separate 5 burner gas hob with extractor fan.
- There is also a tall fridge, separate freezer and washing machine, a microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and cafetiere.
Dining
- Has stunning views of the inner harbour.
- Located on the ground floor.
- Contains a circular dining table with seating for 8 guests.
- Other items include a colour television, Welsh dresser, leather chair and a champagne bucket.
Sleeping

- Stunning views beyond the inner harbour, the marina and across to Torquay.
- Occupies the whole of the second floor.
- It has a king size bed with bedside table and two further single beds.
- This very spacious bedroom also contains a vanity unit and chair, a small chest of drawers and a double wardrobe.
- Further storage is available via built in cupboards.
- En-suite w.c. and wash basin.
Bedroom two
- Located on the ground floor at the rear of the property.
- Contains a single bed with a further pull out bed beneath.
- There is a 2 door wardrobe and 5 drawer unit and bedside cabinet.
- Entertainment is provided by a portable television and video player.
Bedroom three
- Contains a double bed with 2 bedside cabinets, 1 wardrobe and matching drawer unit with stool.
- There is also an occasional chair, corner washbasin with mirror and light and T.V.
Bathroom
Main bathroom
- The spacious family bathroom is located on the first floor and comprises a toilet, and bath with shower and shower curtain over.
- The suite is white with marble effect tiling. There is also a chrome wall mounted radiator.
En-suite to bedroom one
- A toilet and wash basin.
Shower room
- Located on the ground floor opposite the second bedroom.
- There is a fully tiled shower room with white suite comprising a toilet, washbasin and mirror and corner shower cubicle with curtain.
Outside
- Designated parking space below on the harbour front.
- To the rear of the property is a pleasant sunny decked patio with a circular table and chairs, with additional chairs to one corner.
- There are 5 steps leading into the front entrance.
