A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description

This town house arranged over three floors with the benefit of off-street parking and a two-tier patio garden at the back complete with summer house - perfect for relaxing after a day out. The house has light, neutral décor throughout with contemporary lighting and modern furnishings. With plenty of space and panoramic views across the harbour, it is the ideal holiday home.

A short walk down the hill takes you into the centre of Brixham with its specialist shops, cafés and restaurants and you won’t have to worry about parking.

Living

  • On the first floor, the L-shaped living room stretches the length and width of the house.
  • Comfortable leather three-seater suite and armchair.
  • Entertainment is provided by a widescreen TV, which has Freeview, DVD and video player.
  • The rear overlooks the garden and is laid out with wicker arm chairs and a small, glass-topped coffee table.
  • Board games and books provided.
  • Coal effect electric fire.

Kitchen

  • The L-shaped kitchen/diner has a tiled floor and is fully fitted with electric oven and separate grill, ceramic hobs, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
  • There is a washing machine in the utility room off the hall.
  • A four-slice toaster for family breakfasts, microwave, kettle and cafétière, caters for all cooking.

Dining

  • The glass topped table with wicker padded chairs seats 6 and looks out over the patio garden, with its colourful shrubs and palms, and there is a wall-mounted TV.

Master Bedroom

  • Stunning sea and harbour views.
  • Has a modern, iron frame, kingsize bed, and plenty of clothes space with a wardrobe, fitted cupboard and two bedside chests of drawers, a wicker arm chair and TV.

Bedroom Two

  • Looks down over both gardens and is furnished with two single beds, a wardrobe, and side table with bedside lamp.
  • Entertainment is provided by a TV.

Bedroom Three

  • Sea views over the bay.
  • Bedroom three is downstairs, off the kitchen/diner and is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and chair.

Main bathroom

  • The family bathroom serving both bedrooms has a white suite comprising bath with electric shower and shower screen, and wash basin and WC. The bath area is fully tiled.
  • There is a bathroom cabinet for toiletries.

Shower room

  • Located downstairs next to the third bedroom.
