A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.
Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can enjoy the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description
Badgers run is a well appointed three bedroom bungalow, sleeping six with panoramic sea views over Torbay and Lyme bay, and has recently been awarded a four-star gold rating by Visit Britain.The bungalow is fully double glazed and has central heating with constant hot water. There are also sea and bay views from the terrace and garden. Free wireless broadband is available for guests with their own laptop.
Badger's Run was named after the family of badgers who regularly come into the garden of this detached bungalow. In addition to these visitors, the garden is a haven for wildlife and numerous species of birds that use the feeders in the garden.
The views extend from the terrace down to the sea, where gannets feed and seals and dolphins have been spotted.
The bungalow enjoys a peaceful setting in a quiet part of Brixham between the centre and the Berry Head Nature Reserve, where sweeping cliff top walks and views can be enjoyed. Both are within a 20 minute walk. There are sea views across the bay, while a path leads down to Breakwater Beach where you will find a sheltered child friendly cove, a beach cafe and the Breakwater Fish restaurant.

Please note: This property doesn't accept short breaks (less than 7 nights) from 01st May 2009 to 14th September 2009 and from 27th March 2010 to 11th September 2010. The path to the beach is not suitable for people with walking difficulties and young children must be supervised.
Living
- Large living/dining room is a great focal point in the house with full width patio windows allowing spectacular views of the sea, with the doors opening out onto the terrace and the garden.
- There is a 3 and 2 seater sofa along with occasional furniture, binoculars and a telescope in the window.
- Entertainment is provided by a large plasma TV with Sky TV channels, DVD player and video player.
- Wireless broadband access is available for guests who bring their own laptop.
- A selection of games, video's and DVD's are provided for guests use.

- The kitchen has a large serving hatch through to the living/dining room, allowing panoramic views of the sea.
- There is a complete range of equipment including a gas oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, smoothie maker and coffee machine.
- Radio/CD Player.
- There is also a utility room off the hall which houses the washer/dryer as well as a sink and drying space.
Dining
- The dining area, which also enjoys the views, features a rectangular table and 6 chairs.
Sleeping
Master Bedroom
- This beautiful room also features panoramic sea views across Torbay.
- Features a double bed, 2 bedside cabinets with drawers, a dresser and a 5 door wardrobe and hair drier.
Bedroom Two
- Furnished with 2 single beds, along with 2 bedside cabinets, 2 double wardrobes and 3 drawer chest.
Bedroom Three
- Furnished with 2 single beds, a wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside table.
Bathroom
- There are two bathrooms in the bungalow, the main bathroom being between the bedrooms. This spacious room has a bath, shower, w.c., bidet and wash basin with shaver point, mirror and cabinet.
- The second bathroom, off the hall, has a corner shower, wash basin and w.c.
Outside
- There are sea views across the bay, while a private path leads down to Breakwater Beach (not suitable for the elderly and young children should be supervised).
- The garden features a spacious terrace with attractive pot plants, two wrought iron tables with 6 chairs.
- The garden then descends in a series of layers comprising lawn and flower beds, where a three seater carousel, two folding chairs and a double chair/table unit and a wrought iron three seater bench can be found.
- There are two parking spaces in the courtyard to the front of the house with ample free parking on road.
