A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can enjoy the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description

Dolphin Court is a small block of apartments which have been externally repainted and are located in a prestigious position by Brixham Yacht Club.

This top floor apartment has spectacular sea views right across the bay to Torquay. The replica of Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind and the shops, cafés and restaurants are just a couple of minute's walk away. Not only is the apartment so close to the harbour, the allocated parking space means you can always park your car after a day out. With the pleasant coastal walks, you may find Brixham has so much to offer within walking distance that you won’t use it at all.

This apartment is reached by four flights of stairs each of seven steps which are covered in high quality floor tiles leading to the apartment which is furnished and redecorated to the highest of standards in contemporary neutral colours.  

Two folding patio chairs and a table can be used to enjoy the bay view on the walkway outside the apartment.
Heating is by night storage heaters.

Living

  • Fantastic views over to Brixham Marina.
  • The open plan living room and kitchen diner gives a very spacious feel to the apartment.
  • A blue and cream striped sofa faces the harbour window, with a larger 2-3-seater matching sofa, which doubles up as a double sofa bed.
  • Hypo-allergenic duvet and pillows are stored in the large footstool.
  • Pebble effect electric fireplace.
  • Entertainment is provided by a 32-inch LCD flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs.
  • There is also a hi-fi with CD and radio.

Kitchen

  • The kitchen has views of the outer harbour and across to Torquay.
  • Cream units are set off by granite effect worktops and the granite floor tiles, with the contemporary sunken halogen spots giving discreet but bright lighting.
  • There is a built-in electric oven with grill and built-in ceramic hob.
  • There is a fridge with a freezer compartment, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, cafétière and kettle.

Dining

  • Drop leaf beech dining table with four matching chairs.

Bedroom

  • The bedroom has a luxury king-size bed with a chocolate brown leather headboard and feather pillows and duvet.
  • The double fitted wardrobe and a five-drawer dark oak chest provide plenty of storage space for clothes, and the two dark oak bedside chests each has its own antique-style reading lamp, one having an alarm clock.

Bathroom

  • The white suite comprises W.C., wash basin and bath with power shower above and folding shower screen.
  • It is fully tiled with a shaver point and shelving above the bath. A free standing cupboard provides plenty of storage for toiletries, with a high quality chrome towel rail completing the furniture.

Outside

  • The flat is situated on the second floor.
  • There is a large storage cupboard in the hall containing two folding patio chairs and a table which can be used on the walkway outside to enjoy the bay view.
  • Allocated parking for one car
