A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.

Full Property Description

Set in a quiet close, there is a degree of peace and tranquillity, whilst retaining the benefits of easy access to the town centre, where the local shops, restaurants and attractions are located, just a 10 minute walk away.   For guests with younger children, use of a cot, highchair and push chair is also provided.

Churston Woods, Fishcombe Cove, Churston Cove and the historic Battery Gardens are nearby and make the ideal setting for a peaceful stroll with the dog.

Living

  • The south-facing living/dining room looks towards the harbour and features black leather 2 and 3 seater sofas, lamp and coffee table.
  • Double glazed patio doors open onto a small sunny private patio, furnished with a table and chairs.
  • Entertainment is provided by a TV with Freeview and a DVD player and a hifi with CD/Radio.

Kitchen

  • The kitchen is adjacent, with a large open hatchway featuring a breakfast bar with 2 stools.
  • It has new modern cupboards and is well-equipped with a washer, fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven with grill, gas hobs with hood over, kettle, toaster and cafetiere.

Dining

  • The dining area has an attractive oblong wood table with 4 trellis-back chairs and a modern sideboard.
  • High chair provided.

Sleeping

Master Bedroom

  • This has a view across the bay to Torquay.
  • Features a double bed with memory foam mattress, 2 bedside tables with lamps, a build-in wardrobe cupboard with hanging rail and shelving and a chest of drawers with mirror over.

Bedroom Two

  • Overlooks the rear with views to the sea and harbour.
  • Has 2 single beds with memory foam mattresses, a bedside table, matching double wardrobe and a chest of drawers with mirror over.

PLEASE NOTE: A cot is also available for guests with younger children.

Bathroom

  • There is a wet room consisting of a shower with curtain, w.c., wash basin and built-in storage cupboard, as well as a mirror and shaver point.

Outside

  • Entrance is gained through a private paved frontage, whilst the designated parking space is adjacent.
