Dartmoor

The National Park of Dartmoor covers some 368 square miles of the Devon countryside and is the largest and wildest area of open country in southern England.

Dartmoor is a must for any visit to the South West any time of the year. Dartmoor oozes extraordinary beauty, with deep wooded gorges, beautiful reservoirs and tumbling rocky rivers.

Dartmoor is a haven for exciting events including a Mini Beer festival in January and February, a Fine Dining Weekend in April, and Lydford Gorges’ Woodland trail where the children can help spot wildlife and manage the gorge.
