Brixham has attractive narrow lanes around the harbour, with residential streets on the higher hills either side from which there are great views across Torbay. Berry Head park, about a 30 minute walk from the centre of Brixham, is great for walking and has stunning views back to Brixham harbour, across Torbay and along the coast to the South Hams.
The harbour and Brixham Marina are great for a leisurely stroll, or a spot of crab fishing for the young at heart, or for the more adventurous Brixham is on the South West Coastal Path. Leave Brixham and head via Churston to Paignton or from the Berry Head take the invigorating walk up and down hills to Kingswear.
In summer the town is buzzing with activity but Brixham is a great place to visit all year round. There are lots of local attractions open and the beaches and pathways around Brixham are especially nice in the spring and summer. For the coast lover, Brixham is a perfect getaway.
