Fabulous Fairtrade Fortnight - The Big Swap!

For this year's Fairtrade Fortnight entitled The Big Swap, we're asking you to swap your usual stuff for Fairtrade stuff for just 2 weeks. All that is required is one million and one swaps to show that the people of the UK want producers in the developing world to get a fairer deal.

To help you do your bit we're placing all bookings made before 4pm on Sunday 14th February 2010 for holidays arriving 22nd February and 7th March 2010 into a draw to win a hamper of Fairtrade products worth £50 to enjoy on your holiday.

If you want to get swapping at home why not start small? A chocolate bar, a banana a cup of tea or a jar of coffee adds to the one million and one total and is easy for everyone to do. If you want to think big there are now over 4,500 Fairtrade products to choose from so why not get swapping today!

How to enter

Simply write a maximum of 500 words on a favourite part of your holiday in the South West. It can be about any part of your holiday, e.g. the best beach, best meal, funniest moment, best view – the list is endless.

As a guideline please include details of:

• Your favourite day out, adding in details of your destination
• What you did when you got there?
• Your highlight of your day?
• What recommendations would you make if you were to go again (such as places to eat, best spots for a picnic, must do/see things while you’re there, things to avoid)
• Who your day out would be perfect for (families, couples, friends, visitors with dogs)
• Which property you stayed in
• The time of year you visited the region
